To mark 100 years since WWI, me and my group have been asked to make hull station and the surrounding area in a map. The map has to be based in the Edwardian period pre 1914. We have no limit on how big the map can be, but the bigger the map the more work we will have to do and the group doesn’t wasn’t to bit off more than we can chew. So for now we have decided to look at the surrounding area. Upon deciding this we split into four groups, was assigned different jobs and headed out to station. My groups job was the exterior of station, which I was happy about, I look at architecture, as well as the actually train tracks. what was a bit frustrating is the new architecture that has been added to the side of the building which makes it very hard to see the original brick work. I will do more research into the construction of hull train station.
