3D Max, first modeling lesson

Today I had my first lesson on modeling on the software 3D Max. We learned the basic layout of 3D Max and the location of some key buttons and options. We modeled a dice, we started with a basic square and by messing with the poly count and splitting each side into a 3 by 3 grid and selecting the 1 – 6 numbers of the dice and taking the polygons back to create holes in the position of the dice. I used the turbo smooth tool that turned the square hole into a circular hole. I then set the holes a different values to the rest of the dice and used it to colour it separate.
